🌵 About Pachypodium brevicaule
Pachypodium brevicaule is one of the most unique and sought-after caudex plants in the world. Native to Madagascar, it features a low, flattened caudex that resembles a living stone, with small spiny branches and bright yellow flowers during its growing season.
It is slow growing, extremely collectible, and prized for its bizarre sculptural form.

Soil and pots are not included to prevent damage and rot during transit.
🌿 After Arrival Tips
Once your plant arrives, we recommend potting it as soon as possible.
Due to shipping stress, plants may appear slightly dry, soft, or lighter/darker in color—this is normal and they will recover with proper care.
🌱 Soil
Use a porous, fast-draining mix.
We recommend a 1:1 ratio of cactus/succulent soil and pumice, perlite, lava rock, or grit for proper drainage.
Never allow the caudex to sit in wet soil.
☀️ Sunlight
Introduce sunlight gradually.
Bright light to partial sun is ideal.
Avoid strong direct sun immediately after arrival to prevent sunburn.
If growing outdoors in intense sun, we recommend 40% shade cloth.
💧 Watering
Water only when the soil is completely dry.
During winter or dormancy, water very sparingly or not at all.
Never let the plant sit in wet soil overnight.
